The next Deadpool film, frequently referred to as Deadpool 3, is a forthcoming superhero film in the United States. It is based on the character Deadpool from Marvel Comics. It is being produced by Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment, and will be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and follows the events of Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). Shawn Levy is directing it, and the script was written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Ryan Reynolds, and Levy. Hugh Jackman, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jennifer Garner join Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson / Deadpool.
In November 2016, Fox began production on a third Deadpool film. However, when Disney acquired Fox in March 2019, plans were put on hold. It is the first MCU film to try for this grade. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin will join as writers in November 2020.Reese and Wernick returned in March 2022 to revise the script. Along with Reynolds, Levy joined the cast as director and producer. In August 2022, Jackman agreed to join the cast as Wolverine. More casting was announced in early 2023, with Wells, Reynolds, and Levy identified as supplementary writers. In May, filming began in London and Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England, with some scenes shot in Norfolk. The production was halted in July due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, and it restarted in late November once the strike was resolved.
Deadpool 3 will be released in the United States on July 26, 2024, as part of the MCU’s Phase Five.
1.Ryan Reynolds portrays Wade Wilson, or Deadpool, a snarky mercenary with superhuman healing powers. He’s covered in scars from a cancer regeneration treatment. This film, according to writer Rhett Reese, is about Deadpool feeling out of place in the “normal” world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like a crazy character in a very rational environment.
2.Hugh Jackman portrays Wolverine, James “Logan” Howlett. He’s a mutant with healing abilities, retractable claws, and an adamantium-infused skeleton. Logan and Deadpool, according to Jackman, are polar opposites who collide, which would irritate Logan. To prepare for the part, Jackman engaged in a rigorous fitness regimen, ingesting up to 8,000 calories each day.
3.Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Wilson’s fiancée, is played by Morena Baccarin. Baccarin hoped that the film will change Vanessa and Wilson’s relationship while maintaining a fundamental element that binds them together.
4.Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a youthful X-Men member, is played by Brianna Hildebrand. Her body possesses the mutant ability to manufacture and discharge tremendous atomic blasts.
5.Jennifer Garner plays Elektra Natchios, a Greek-born assassin noted for her deft use of a pair of sai, which are ancient martial arts weapons. Garner reprises her role as Elektra, as seen in the films “Daredevil” (2003) and “Elektra” (2005).
